Barrio Vila Station : ウィキペディア英語版
Barrio Vila railway station

The Barrio Vila railway station is a former railway station in Rosario, province of Santa Fe, Argentina. It is located in the west of the city, in the neighbourhood of Belgrano. The original name was that of a town, Eloy Palacios, which was later absorbed by Rosario's urbanization; the neighbourhood was then known as Barrio Vila before acquiring its current name.
The station was opened in 1891 by Ferrocarril Central Argentino company. The railway ran southwest from the Patio Parada node and proceeded towards the city of Pérez. After the railway nationalization in 1949, the station was managed by the Ferrocarril General Bartolomé Mitre company. In 1977 it was shut down, as almost all passenger services were eliminated. 〔Asociación Rosarina Amigos del Riel. (''Historia de los Ferrocarriles de Rosario'' ) (History of Rosario's Railways).〕 Like other stations of the former Ferrocarril Mitre, it is now maintained by the Nuevo Central Argentino.
